  1. Dianne says:

Abraham was declared righteous because he believed God (Genesis 15:6). David was forgiven when he confessed his sins (Psalm 32:1-5); Christ the Messiah is the end of the law for all who have faith and confess their sins (Romans 10:4). The law would be broken as Moses fortold (Deuteronomy 31:29). By the law no flesh is justified before the LORD. The law reveals unrightousness and an inablity to keep it and should drive you to call on the Lord that he may forgive your sins.

Psalm 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise.

The law is over us all and puts us under the wrath of God unless we keep the whole of it. Only one could keep it perfectly without sin, Christ our Lord. Without being covered by his blood, you are still guilty of not keeping all of the law. Christ is the end of the law for rightousness for all who believe (Romans 10:4).

Nothing counts of anything except faith expressing itself in love. The whole law is fulfilled in one statement: “Love your neigbor as yourself” (Galatians 5:14).

John 3:36 “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
